Bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4
The mission of Flagler Christian Academy, as stated in Proverbs, is to instruct our children in the ways of the Lord by providing a Bible-based education. This encompasses an up-to-date curriculum that will prepare our students today for the challenges of tomorrow. We endeavor to nurture body, soul, and spirit in an atmosphere where the Word of God is taught and Christ-like character is encouraged.
FCA employs th A Beka Christian Curriculum, which is non-denominational in nature. Classroom lessons are taught utilizing DVD's as a primary mode of teaching, while maintaining a traditional classroom approach to learning with strong teacher support. Emphasis is placed on the Bible, phonics, critical thinking skills, good study habits, and a disciplined approach to learning.
To insure both sound and challenging academics, professional Christian teachers and administrators have developed the A Beka curriculum. Art, Music, Physical Education and Spanish have been integrated into the curriculum as well.
Lower classroom sizes provide more individualized and personal student-teacher interaction. This also promotes a family atmosphere that the students as well as the teachers and administration enjoy!
